Instagram
I am adding another form of Social Media to
my sewing basket. If you would like you can now follow
me on Instagram @temeculaquiltco. I will be focusing
on behind the scene stuff and how I use quilts in my home.

I will also feature special Instagram projects.
First on the list is my Summer Bow Tie Quilt
Somewhere between 1200 to 1500 - 2" Bow Ties
will be needed. If you would like to join me here
is a quick Bow Tie Tutorial.
For One Bow Tie cut the following:
two 1-1/2" dark squares
two 1" dark squares
two 1-1/2" light squares.
I am using all the same light, Kona Natural

Sew 1" dark square to corner 1-1/2" light square, diagonally
Trim off corners - Press toward dark
Assemble like a 4 patch.
Only 1199 left to go

  5. Okay, I admit it . . . I am technologically challenged, and would fit better in the 19th century. I do not have a fancy cell phone, just plain old one. I don't know anything about Instagram, and really don't want to know about it. HOWEVER, this is something I DO NOT WANT TO MISS. Help! Will this be offered in any other form? Please, please, please.

  6. Hopefully you'll continue to post updates on your blog too. Don't want to get into another computer thing. I spend too much time on it as it is!!

  7. It's me again. I went to Instagram. I tired to figure it out. This is frustrating. I'm doing this because I do so love your designs, etc., and want to see more about how you decorate with quilts (I'm the one who suggested a book, you know, an old fashioned book). Sheryl . . . she says in a long whiney voice. I don't have a phone with apps, and I don't want one. I see at least one other of your fans (comment from Jacque Wright), agrees with me. Please make this accessible to those of us who would rather spend more time sewing than computing!

  14. Oh no! I'm with some of your other Commenters...I don't have a clue what Instagram is and I, too, am VERY computer challenged! (I can't tell you how pleased I was when I figured out how to actually post Comments on a blog!!) Could you post this information on your blog for us?? Please???? I would love it if you could continue to post this information on your blog......just saying (I mean begging)!

  15. I'm following on IG. Those are so tiny. Is there an easier way than to make one at a time?

  16. I would love to start this one too! Do you have a pattern with the layout?

  17. I am making them, as good fortune would have it, I already have hundreds of 1 1/2 inch blocks cut! I don't know that I can make a thousand and more, but might pair them up with something else. They are cute as bugs ears! Thank you, love your blog and the free patterns and many, creative ideas!
