  1. It's been fun to sew along this year. I've wanted to make a Burgoyne Surrounded quilt and now I have!

  3. I never would have made this, if it hadn't of been a mystery. I would have been too intimidated by it all. Breaking it down into small steps, was great. Thank you so much, for doing this sew along!

  7. Love it! Thank you soooooo very much for this. Like Nann, I have had Burgoyne Surrounded on my extremely long list of to-dos, and I am so happy I have one in my vintage Christmas fabrics. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

  10. I can’t believe I didn’t recognize the pattern sooner! Currently, we live in Albany, NY which is a nice Sunday afternoon drive to the site of Burgoyne’s Surrender. I was making a Burgoyne for my grandson when we came out here so I took all my quilting motifs from the designs on the floor and walls of the memorial there. I’ll probably do the same with this sweet quilt. Did you use batting or flannel in the middle? Thanks so much for this sew a long! It has been so much fun I think I’ll make one for every season.

  17. Thoroughly enjoyed making this mystery. Like others I always wanted to make a Burgoyne surrounded but was intimated. You made it so easy and fun. I was afraid my vision impairment would prevent my success. However I am really impressed with your easy to follow instructions and have more confidence to attempt to keep sewing. I have really missed this. Thank you.

  18. Your patterns are a lovely treat. Too many are so complex it takes more time figuring out what to do next then it does to sew them. Your patterns are simple, well explained and come out perfect. I've made a few of your Christmas mysteries and love them all.
