Lets start a new project | Circa 2016

This years Friday posts will feature a pieced project so lets get ready.

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you know what I have

been up to. If not here is a quick recap. I have been taking piles of

 scrap fabric and cutting it up into different size squares. This not a 

new concept just something I have never done before.This will make

it easier to give our new project and many others a great scrappy look.

I am cutting 4" | 3" | 2-1/2" | 2" and 1-1/2" squares

I think these sizes will allow for the most flexibility and are

not necessarily the sizes you will need for Circa 2016.

 

I found some great clear acrylic boxes at Home Goods. 

They are perfect to hold all my different size squares in a drawer.

Due to the scrappy nature of this project we will not be making kits.

If you need to add some new scraps to your stash we do

have lots of different bundle options available on the website.

Circa 2016 will be a Medallion Sampler with 2-1/4" and 3" blocks.
Finished quilt size will be approximately 48" x 55", it is a work in progress. 

Block posts will begin next week so get ready 2016 is going to be fun.
