1880 Sampler Sew Along

from red print cut 4 | 2" squares

from blue print cut 6 | 2" squares

from light print cut 6 | 2" squares

Pair up squares and make half
square triangles as follows:
4 light | 4 blue
2 light | 2 red
2 blue | 2 red

Square each half square triangle to 1-1/2" 

(Here is a tutorial for our favorite technique)

Layout and piece block using photo for placement.

Are you ready to for our next Sew Along?

Lets get started on our 1880 Sampler. 

(Previously known as the Quirky Quilt Sew Along)

Each Friday I will post the instructions for one

 simple 4" finished block. Lets get started.

from brown print cut 4 | 1-1/2" squares

from pink print cut 4 | 1-1/2" squares

from pink and tan cut 2 | 2" squares

from tan cut 4 | 1-1/2" squares

Using pink and tan 2" squares make 4 half square triangles

Square each half square triangle to 1-1/2"
