ReplyDeleteThey are fun to make and I do mine without paper, so I can work while I watch tv after I cut them. It is fun to use different fabrics and try different ways of making designs.

I do the exact same thing as this tutorial,except I like to hide my thread underneath the fabric so all you see are tiny stitches at the corners - even though they will be covered up and nobody will ever see the underside, I just like how neat it looks. I also take a hole punch and punch a hole in the middle of each hexie paper - makes it really easy to remove it with a hemostat or whatever tool you use after you have sewn your whole flower together. Can't wait to get my boxes! They are so cute! :O) Bari
