I have finished most of these bowties - 467 done - 733 to go.
I know a few of you want a little more information so here it is.
As of right now I think I need 1200 bowtie blocks
Each block has 25 bowties and will be set like this.
You will need a total of 48 blocks for a quilt finishing 60" x 80"
This is what the finished setting will look like.
I might change this up a little, we will see. It seems a little long to me.
What do you think? Have you been making bowties?

ReplyDeleteI'm using 1930's fabrics, but I only have 50 made. Can't wait to get my BOW!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this great idea for using up scraps!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this project but I May need to put that one on hold.
ReplyDeleteMy guess would have to be 200 bowties in the jar.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome and I would love to start this too. What size are your original squares cut and what does one finished bowtie block measure. Love the setting.
ReplyDeleteLove the setting!
