Mini Monday Sewing Bee 
Get caught up on all the details here.

Rail Fence
Cutting is for one block, repeat to make four blocks

from four prints, cut: 1 rectangle, 1-1/2" x 4-1/2"

Join four rectangles on long edge to make a Rail Fence block
measuring 4-1/2" square, including seam allowances. 
There is a lot of sewing to be done this week.
If you are sewing along with my Back to School-house project
this week homework is flying geese. Use your pattern to make
the necessary number of blocks.

Are you ready to go back to school? How about back to basics?
Here is a little sneak peek and my newest sew along which will begin
 in September. We will be using a few basic blocks for this project,
that of course is inspired by a vintage quilt. Pull out your scraps
 and get ready for a fun and simple 6 month project that will hopefully
 teach you a new trick or brush up on your basic techniques.
