The files are cleaned out and we are ready for the New Year.

Fussy Cut Fridays - A star a week for a year, this should 

be doable, right? If you would like to join us get the starter kit here.

Stitching Saturday's will continue in 2014. I am looking

forward to seeing this finished project and will might even

have a little grand child to use it by the end of the year.

New patterns will be available on the website soon

including this one titled Rothermel.

 I am going to be participating in Barbara Brackman's

2014 Block of the Month. I will have more information

on this soon. This one just got added to my list today.

I am thinking about kitting it monthly but need to work 

out the details. Read more about this Block of the Month here.

 This one is just a thought. The English Basket Quilt.

I have been thinking about a new applique project

and this one keeps popping up so I decided to add it to

 the list. I will get the new year rolling and then think about

 how I am going to tackle this one.

Piecing with Pictures

This is what happens the week before Christmas at your local quilt 

shop. Added a new App to my phone - Pic Stitch. I picked

 this collage app because of the name. Just trying it out and

 thought I would share. Merry Christmas.

Civil War Miniatures

Civil War Miniatures will be our first Block of the Month for 2014.

Join us for a year of "miniature" piecing. These 4" blocks are
so cute and fun to make. We will be using Judie Rothermel's new line
Authentic Miniatures from Marcus Brothers.
The finished quilt will measure approximately 44" x 56"
This will be a Temecula Quilt Co original design.
We will post finished pictures as soon as they are available. 

This Block of the Month is a 12 month program
and will begin shipping in February 2014
If you sign up today you will not be
charged until your first kit ships.

Your monthly kits will include fabric for four 4" blocks.
Additional fabric for finishing will be shipped

Bed Turning

The rainy weather did not put a damper on our first Bed Turning. 

It was very fun, thank you to everyone who participated and shared their 

quilts with us. I will give you what information I have on the quilts.

Sew Happy

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone

 for their generous donations to our Sew Blessed Program.

Last year we were able to purchase 14 sewing machines. 

12 machines were purchased through World Vision and 2 were 

bought by a missionary friend for a village in Zimbabwe 

Thomas is Sew Happy with his new sewing machine.
