Day 11

Cut two 1-5/8" squares from dark
Cut one 1-5/8" x 3-7/8" rectangle from dark
Cut two 1-5/8" squares from light cut once diagonally (corners)
Cut one 2-3/4" square from light cut twice diagonally (setting)
Sew setting triangles ( triangles cut from 2-3/4" square )
to 1-5/8" square as shown in picture.
Attach these units to 1-5/8" x 3-7/8" rectangle.
Sew one small triangle to each corner.

this has been so much fun to do. I'm going to miss it after tomorrow... thanks for fun 12 Days of Christmas.

ReplyDeleteI must admit that I had problems with this block .... perhaps because it's one I've never made before. Now I've just confessed to the whole world what a dimwit I am!!!

ReplyDeleteI thought this one would really be hard with all the small pieces, but it went together rather fast, much to my surprise. Anxiously awaiting for tommorow's block and then the setting directions on Friday - will be making more

O.k. I've been toying with making this little gem. But finally looked at the days and realized that each one has that number of blocks in it. Really cute Idea, and really sill of me just to notice now.

This one was a bit more of a challenge, I think all the bias, but I sure have enjoyed myself! I have made a double set each time. I'm looking forward to today's, and then the setting!

Like everyone else, I love this sew along! But I have to say that this has been the hardest block for me. Those tiny triangles on each corner just didn't want to set right. Oy! But I adore the block now that it's done!
