Piece Little Letter F using layout
Cut the following for Little Letter E
from dark
A - one 1-1/2" x 4-1/2" strip
B - two 1-1/4" x 3-1/2" strips
C - one 1-1/4" x 2-1/2" strip
from light
A - one 1-1/2" x 3" strips
B - two 1-3/8" x 2-1/2" strips
Something wrong with the sizes of these pieces, I think.
ReplyDeleteOk, I noticed that that the cutting instructions at the end was for E. Now I got it right, thank you. I love these letters.
ReplyDeleteAll good things happen three times, we say here. So I write one more time. I think the dark part B is too wide for the F. Shouldn't it be 1 1/4" as for the E?
ReplyDeleteI think piece B should be the same for letter E and letter F. My section on the right portion (all but the 1.5" by 4.5" piece of dark) was 1/4" to 3/8" too tall.
ReplyDeleteIf I question the cutting, do my own math and draw them out on paper and paper piece them.
ReplyDeleteI see you have corrected the cutting instructions - BUT!!!! Why not have the change in the same place as the original with a note saying it has been fixed instead of sending a person to look else where in the post for the fixes???!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am starting this late as compared to my friends and now am a little frustrated with it - but I will keep on - these letters are just to cute.
Sorry for being cranky - I just want to sew and now I have to keep checking to make sure I am on the right place.
((hugs)) ~Brenda!
It would help to edit the "E" post because I am going back and doing them from the beginning and I had no idea there was a correction until I'd moved on to the F. I've had a few spots here and there where the measures came out a little wonky, but I've sorted it out!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteWhere can I find the blocks between the letters??
Is it in the finish or have I missed it??
