Cut the following for Little Letter U
from dark
A - one 1-1/2" x 4-1/2" strip
B - two 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" strips
from light
A - two 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" rectangle
Piece Little Letter U using layout

    Thank you so much for this fun little quilt. I'm keeping up, and plan on giving it to my daughter, who homeschools her kids, as a Christmas gift. It will have in their homeschooling room.

    Yes, you only need one light 2.5x3.5.
