It's been fun to sew along this year. I've wanted to make a Burgoyne Surrounded quilt and now I have!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this beautiful sew along mystery. It was really fun to make. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteI never would have made this, if it hadn't of been a mystery. I would have been too intimidated by it all. Breaking it down into small steps, was great. Thank you so much, for doing this sew along!
ReplyDeleteI've had so much fun. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sheryl! This little quilt is just charming.
ReplyDeleteI have SO enjoyed these past few weeks with your sew along mystery quilt! What a fun time of year for this. Thank you for doing this and giving me something to look forward to each weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Thank you soooooo very much for this. Like Nann, I have had Burgoyne Surrounded on my extremely long list of to-dos, and I am so happy I have one in my vintage Christmas fabrics. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteI thought I had miscounted the 9-patches when making them. Thanks for the reveal and the great holiday quilt.
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty -- thank you and Happy Holidays:)
ReplyDeleteI can’t believe I didn’t recognize the pattern sooner! Currently, we live in Albany, NY which is a nice Sunday afternoon drive to the site of Burgoyne’s Surrender. I was making a Burgoyne for my grandson when we came out here so I took all my quilting motifs from the designs on the floor and walls of the memorial there. I’ll probably do the same with this sweet quilt. Did you use batting or flannel in the middle? Thanks so much for this sew a long! It has been so much fun I think I’ll make one for every season.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful holiday quilt - thank you!
ReplyDeleteThank you for another great sew along! I'm delighted with my quilt!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, loved this block and wish I had seen the sew along at beginning of year. Is there a sew along planned for 2019?
ReplyDeleteCan you make this available from the beginning for those of us just tuning in? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteJust click on the Secret Santa Sew Along link on the sidebar. Everything is there.
DeleteI definitely need to make this,. Cannot before 2019 as I have to work to many hours right now. Thanks so much. I am glad I found your site.

ReplyDeleteThoroughly enjoyed making this mystery. Like others I always wanted to make a Burgoyne surrounded but was intimated. You made it so easy and fun. I was afraid my vision impairment would prevent my success. However I am really impressed with your easy to follow instructions and have more confidence to attempt to keep sewing. I have really missed this. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYour patterns are a lovely treat. Too many are so complex it takes more time figuring out what to do next then it does to sew them. Your patterns are simple, well explained and come out perfect. I've made a few of your Christmas mysteries and love them all.
ReplyDeleteI too had this on my Quilting bucket list. Checked another one off thanks to you. I add 2 borders to mine to make it a little bigger. I really enjoyed this sew along. Thank you for all your efforts. Can't wait to visit your shop again next time I'm in Temecula.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this Sew Along!! I have always wanted to make a Burgoyne Surround quilt - I couldn't be happier with the results!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to all at Temecula Quilt Shop!
ReplyDeleteHappy & Healthy New Year to all!
