Scrappy Spring

March 1, 2020 marks 14 years since I hung this little
quilt behind the cash register at the shop and opened my doors.
It seems like just yesterday in some ways and 14 years in others, HA!
I want to take a moment to thank you all for your amazing support.
I could not have done it without you.

This spring we are going to have some fun with scraps.
This is a project I have been working on just for me. When
this quilt was featured on the cover of  issue #132 of
Quiltmania I knew it was meant to be. I have had this quilt
pinned to my Antique Quilt Pinterest board forever.
I am hoping to get if finished soon. If you do not already
follow me on Pinterest you can do so here.
Doing a little cutting for a new project I have planned.
Get your scraps ready, I have some fun plans for them,
it includes scraps, patterns and prizes!!!
I always like to have my bindings ready to go. These
are two waiting for the quilts to return from the quilter.

Another sneak peek at our next sew along. This one is going
to be a bit different, stay tuned for all the details coming soon.

All these photos are from Instagram and Facebook.
Be sure to follow us in one or both places @temeculaquiltco
to stay in touch between blog post, we would love to have you.

  3. Happy Anniversary! I'm so glad you decided to open your shop 14 years ago. While I didn't find you until probably about 5-7 years ago, I love your blog, projects, ideas, books, and all things scrappy!

  7. Anything with blues appeals to me! I remember when you opened. My best friend and I were touring shops south of L.A., and stopped in the first time then. I think you'd only been open a short time. Congratulations! In those years of economic unrest, that's great longevity!

  8. I’m so glad you are still here Sheryl! As one of your original 14 year participantsI have been constantly amazed at your creativity, and I am constantly inspired by you and your beautiful shop:)I hope I can get down more in the next few months, I either have time or money, rarely both! But if I make it through Covid-19, this is my last year at work. As we speak, my license is ghosting away.... I just must let it fade away. Keep up the good work! The things you have done are amazing!!!💕

  9. Happy Anniversary from MN! I'm glad we had the chance to stop in at your shop when we visited California several years ago. I still keep my little Temecula Quilt shop ruler box right next to my machine.
