Olde Glory

Summer is upon us. Spend a few hours stitching and
you will have this cute little quilt ready to celebrate.
Grab a basket of scraps, print this free pattern
and get started today, Enjoy!
P.S. This is an oldie but a goodie, I just realized
that I posted this five years ago. Good thing
a classic never goes out of style.

P.S.S. I also realize that a flag hanging this
direction should have the blue field in the
left corner. The vintage quilt that inspired
this project was made well before the
flag code was enacted. You can read
that United States flag code here.

  1. Thank you for the pattern. One could always hang it from the wide side so the flag is in upper left. Or make the flag so it is correct if hung from the narrow end.

  7. This was one of my favorite quilts to make from your patterns. It went up on the back of the sofa for Flag day and will come down again after July 4th.
