Mini Mondays

Mini Monday's would not be complete without a 

Sew Along. Lets return to a simpler time and
 have a little Sewing Bee. Here are all the details.

+ Blocks will post one Monday each month
until the end of the year. 48 blocks total.

+ Blocks will measure 4" finished, 4-1/2"
including seam allowance

+ Quilt center will finish 24" x 32" borders might
be added to make it a little larger.

Mini Monday Sewing Bee

 Variable Nine Patch 
Cutting is for one block, repeat to make four blocks

from print #1, cut:
4 squares, 1-1/2" x 1-1/2"
1 square, 2-1/2" x 2-1/2"

from print #2, cut:
4 rectangles, 1-1/2" x 2-1/2"

Lay out squares and rectangles in three rows
using photo above for placement. Join the
units in each row and sew the rows together. 
Block should measure 4-1/2" square,
including seam allowances.
