From green print, cut: 2 squares, 2-3/4" x 2-3/4"

From blue print, cut: 2 squares, 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" cut diagonally once

1. Using 2-3/4" green and light print squares make half-square-triangles
using the technique outlined here. Trim triangles to 2-1/4" square.

2. Make One Broken Dish block. Layout half-square-triangles in two rows.
Sew the units in each row together. Join the rows to make a Broken Dish
block that measures, 4" square, including seam allowances.

3. Add blue triangles to each side of the Broken Dish block,
to make a Center Medallion block that measures, 5-1/2"
square, including seam allowances.

From dark brown print, cut: 24 squares, 2-1/4" x 2-1/4"
From tan print, cut: 24 squares, 2-1/4" x 2-1/4"

1. Using the same technique outlined above, make 48
half-square-triangles, trim to 1-3/4" square.
2. Make 12 Broken Dish blocks that measure,
3" square, including seam allowances.
Using the photo and diagram layout and piece the Center Medallion.
Cut the following borders and add to Center Medallion.
From green print, cut:
2 strips, 1-3/4" x 10-1/2"
2 strips, 1-3/4" x 13"
2 strips, 1-3/4" x 10-1/2"
2 strips, 1-3/4" x 13"
Center Medallion should measure 13" square, including seam allowance.
