What hand quilting thread do u use. Also do u pre wash the background fabric to give it the antique look. Thx
I use YLI cotton quilting thread. I pre-wash the aged muslin but only because it has a sizing on it that makes it hard to get the needle thru. I also wash it as soon as the binding is done to give it a soft vintage feel.
