Friendship Star | Block One

from light cut 4 | 1-1/4" squares
from light cut 2 | 1-3/4" squares
from dark cut 1 | 1-1/4" square
from dark cut 2 | 1-3/4" squares
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Make half square triangles using 1-3/4" squares and the following technique.
draw diagonal line on wrong side of light square
sew 1/4" on each side of line
cut on line | press toward dark | square units to 1-1/4"

Use photo to layout and assemble block
Unfinished block should measure 2-3/4"
