It is Mini Monday again! The weeks are just flying by. You
will be able to whip up this fresh and simple bowtie quilt in no

A few half blocks and you will be ready to assembly
your 1800 Checker-bar. Make 3 different blocks that
measure 5-1/2" x 10-1/2", including seam allowances. 
Let put the 1800 Checker-bar quilt together.
1800 Checker-bar
Finished Quilt 40" x 47-1/2"
From light tan print, cut:
9 strips, 3" x 10-1/2"
From red print, cut:
6 strips, 3" x 42", subcut or piece:
4 strips, 3" x 43" - sashing strips and side borders
2 strips, 3" x 40-1/2" - top and bottom borders
5 strips, 2-1/4" x 42" - binding
Piece quilt using diagram above, blocks and sashing strips.
Add side borders, add top and bottom borders.
Quilt as desired and bind. Enjoy!
