Thankful

As we enter the season of Thanksgiving I just want
to take a moment to let you know how thankful I am
for each and everyone of you. This creative journey would
not be the same without all the people who appreciate what I do.
Please enjoy this Little Leaf tutorial as a small gift from me to you.
Cutting for one 2-1/4" finished Little Leaf block
from light cut
1 | 1-1/4" square
2 | 1-3/4" squares
2 | 1-1/4" x 3" strips
from dark cut
3 | 1-1/4" squares
2 | 1-3/4" squares
from dark brown cut
1 | 5/8" x 3" strip
Make half square triangles using 1-3/4" light
and dark squares and this tutorial.

Make stem section by strip piecing 1-1/4" light
strips to each side of 5/8" brown strip.
Using your 1-1/4" dark square as a guide
cut a 1-1/4" square from you stem strip set.
Layout block using photo above | Repeat to make 12 Little Leaves

Use photo to layout and piece quilt center.
Add 2" borders using your quilts measurements for strip lengths
This is a perfect project to hand quilt and finish using a single thickness binding.

  2. Perfect for the little quilt holder. I was going to make the "T is for tiny quilt" for Thanksgiving but I like this option better.

    Thanks a bunch,
    Charlotte
