One Block Wednesday

I just LOVE the way this quilt came out. I am really
drawn to one block quilts at the moment. I think the
Wild Goose Wednesday quilt I made several years
ago started the whole thing. This will be the last One
Block Wednesday post, if you have been working along
with us you might not have quite enough blocks but
I hope you will be able to persevere and get it done.
Check out this post for my secret tip for easy assembly.
My quilt is put together in 21 rows of 17 blocks.

Any suggestions for another one block sew along.
I just can't get enough!

  1. Sheryl, your quilt is gorgeous! I made a smaller version, with 48 blocks. Thanks for a great sewalong!

  2. What about a tumbler/thimble quilt? So easy and so lovely to do.

Your quilt turned out lovely. I made the snowball quilt a while back and loved how it turned out and it was fun to do so many blocks per week. It kept me going on that quilt and before I knew it, I was ahead of the game. Your weekly reminders help a lot.

  7. Love the quilt! I'm more than half way done with the blocks, so I hope to keep going. Maybe a quilt of shoo-fly blocks would be cute?

  11. This is my first "one block" quilt and I only started last month so I have a long way to go but I love how the blocks are turning out. I am new to Temecula Quilts I just found you because I follow Quilt Roadies and she did a video tour of your shop. I was hooked first by the ruler boxes.

  14. So much cuter than I thought it would be!! I think I will have to start one NOW.

I like the Cracker block idea, or a Split Nine Patch (the one that makes a hidden star when set together).

  15. I made a few blocks in the beginning but did not enjoy it so I stopped, but seeing the pictures of your quilt now I like it a lot, so maybe I have to just make more blocks

  17. I just love this quilt. Have been plugging away at mine. I was wondering what the final measurement in inches is of your quilt. I am making blocks of 16.
