TQC Journal | issue 70

Browns and cream a classic color combination and
the perfect topper for a Thanksgiving table. This
months mini has another great opportunity to showcase
your hand quilting and take a little time to slow down
and enjoy the falling leaves and cooler temperatures.
Need some fresh brown prints for your stash check out my
brown Repro Rolls and Curated Fat Quarter bundles here.

The 2022 Mini-a-Month Postcard Collection is sold out.
If you would like to sew along with me next year be sure
to grab the 2023 Mini-a-Month Postcard Collection.
You can order here and remember they make great
little gifts for all your quilty friends.

I love these little notebooks! They have so many uses and
are simple and quick to make. Use some orphan blocks or
make a few new blocks to add to a store bought notebook.
My first book Quirky Little Quilts has some really cute
tiny blocks in it. If you have a copy grab it and get started,
if not I have a few copies left here or download the digital
version here and save a little space on your bookshelf.

A Few Tips
Piece block as you would normally.
Layer with a backing piece of fabric. No batting.
Do a little hand or machine quilting to hold together.
Trim block cutting off 1/4" seam allowances
Use tacky glue to glue block to notebook.
I used these Moleskine Journals from the Cashier Collection,
but any notebook would work. Have fun and Enjoy!
