Here are a few finishing details
Our quilt finishes 28" x 38"
I joined rows together using 3/4" hexagons
5 rows of 6 Little Gems
4 rows of 5 complete Little Gems and 2 halves on each end.
I finished off the edges by appliqueing Little Gems
to a 2" strip and adding 3-1/2" border.
